Library Policy and Rules
Library Borrowing Policy
  • Check out is for ten school days
  • Fines are 10 cents a day per book – fines may reach up to $5.00 per book
  • You may renew books however, if someone has requested the book that you have checked out to you, then after the ten days, you will not be able to renew
  • You may check out as many as three books at a time
  • You may request book titles to be placed on hold
  • You may request book titles to be purchased
Library Rules of Acceptable Behavior
  • Respect that other students deserve the opportunity to think, plan, study, and prepare work without distraction
  • Keep your voice at a level so that you do not disturb others
  • Do not interfere with classes that are in the library
  • Place books on the tables or carts – please do not reshelf books
  • Make good decisions when using electronic resources 
  • Report to the librarian any damage you notice to books, furniture, walls, or other items in the library
  • Do not wear headphones in the library so that you will receive information quickly in the event of an emergency
  • Leave any food and/or beverage that you have with you at the circulation desk
  • Be considerate of the need to share library space and resources
